Or a Jinhao X750 - cost about 4, about 75% of them are decent enough, and the 25% which are crap - might be fixable, and if not, are only pennies
Two new items arrived today, and only one of them was impulse (as it was a limited edition, well both are limited edition, but the pen was limited to just 40, with just 12 hours notice given before they went on sale and sold out in 2 minutes)
New shoes! I fell in love this these (way too expensive) pair of trainers, plus they had half sizes so I had to buy them. Also pictured, a bunch of gym stuff as I'm gonna start going again in the next week or so. Not pictured, a UMI Super 4G phone I'm getting my dad for his birthday. I am now broke, however.
Dark Souls 3 The Fire Fades Edition Japan LE Because I am apparently a masochist. Contents - guide book, 2 disc OST and map. DLC is thankfully on the disc. Still needed a gigabyte patch though. Sigh, modern day gaming New laptop! 15inch screen, though just over 720p res. CPU info. After downloading what felt like a ton of updates it's actually pretty snappy. Browsing the interwebs works well. Even got Steam installed, and a rather surprising amount of my library run on Linux.
I need a new PC as well - open to advice for a decent gaming PC that can also process photoshop (which means a more powerful CPU). On the what did I get today front: 1 bottle Pelikan Edelstein Aquamarine (2016 limited edition) 1 bottle Diamine Ancient Copper (having finished a sample) 1 sample Robert Ostler Fire & Ice all inks
If you don't want to be spending an arm and a leg for the processor, you can get a refurbished business system and upgrade the parts that need upgrading and add a graphics card (or just move the motherboard to a new case and put all the upgrades in there). The older intel processors (even back to the sandy bridge lineup) can still dance when paired up with a more current GPU.
Meow! I actually ordered the second to last bit I need for a PC I've been working on building (for at least two years or so now), if only Apple actually updated the Mac Mini I wouldn't be doing it. Still not going back to Windows though, will be sticking with Ubuntu.
Some goodies arrived today from Japan. Mobile Suit Gundam: Iron-Blooded Orphans Orga Itsuka figure from biginjapan ACCA blu-ray box set 1 (with LE storage box) from CDJapan. This was my absolute favourite from last season so when I knew it had eng subs I just had to have it.
And I just got another keyboard because I want a good selection along with a few spares in case one has to be sent back due to a fault (plus the last one I got has a few general issues that I don't like and it'll just become a dedicated gaming keyboard).
And we have somewhat of an unexpected item that turned up today (although my video of it turned into a will it boot since I had to use the toshiba to load the disc as its region locked).
A new monitor following a slight but significant oversight on the PC build so I can now actually use my new PC!
