Any volunteers to do some food shopping?
If not, then might need to sort some kind of delivery out.
Yay another female
I've got the money so just need to move it to my paypal wallet and that. It is a process! lol.
Shaun, we gonna do the coach if you has no car?
Just paid you
And thanks about trying to see what you can do. We can just see when we get there eh
I'm working on having a car one way or another by march, so I *should* be ok. Be it a nice one or a shitty banger.
And finally... UKAStock has broken even.
Now, to think of food and snacks and little things to keep us all going.
Looks like Tony will be not coming, which does mean that we are whittling down the final few people. List to follow soon.
We are +1 over break even point as Jeremy has confirmed and paid.
I officially have only two single beds, and the double room.
Room placements as they currently stand are as per the image. Though if we have a twin room with only one person in it, I will likely move Danielle there due to the gender mix.
Does anyone have any requests for moving rooms?
I'm absolutely sound with that atm.
Thanks about defaulting me if a twin room stays uno occupied
Looking forward to this now
Shaun, where will I have to try and get to to get picked up if you has car, please?
not that fucking bus station
can figure it out closer, not really an issue
What bus station? lol.
Ok so are there enough food places nearby in Matlock we can all go to to eat then? As well as a supermarket nearby for those who just wana oven cook? lol.
I'm hoping my depression would of ceased for a bit by the time this comes around as well as me not so affected by my relationship ending.
Oh also, are we over budget to where it's no longer £188 each now as it was said that Jeremy has taken us over the mark? Or did we make it so it's only that and won't be more than £188? Haven't kept track cash wise.
EDIT: OMG can someone do this with me please if it isn't a mish from where we are?
Not too fussy, but I am now waking up a lot during the night, and still snoring as loud as a train. So earplugs are a must with me.
Also considering of parking my car up at my works, and catching the Trans Peak bus from Manchester to Matlock, as I am sick of driving when I am not working.
Matlock Bath has a curry house, a few chip shops, a few pubs etc.
Matlock is a bit up the road but has a bit more if you fancy a trek.
The Heights of Abraham is very close to the house. You walk up there if you like; I did last year. The entry fee for pedestrians is about £8 I think.
Sounds perfect! Thanks
If that Abraham is that close I now dont mind walking and doing it alone if it's no one elses thing
That walk is a cracker, and i'll likely do it again. There was also a damn good chinese in Matlock Bath.
In the other direction we found three or four nice pubs which did a decent menu.
This time I might not feel like I'm going to die...
Sorry about that :/
That Chinese was great. I got too much seaweed though
Pubs and chinese sound great.
Seb if you're walking to Abraham that's good! Will be like our little excursions in Japan again
I really liked when loads of us did those caves at that last UKA Stock I attended.
I hope this weekend away makes me better and not a misery guts still. If Shaun has a car I'll probably see about stopping us at a supermarket so I can buy some booze.
Oh and as for Carls snoring pre-warn lol, if we do get no one else, we can put Dan in with Jeremy so Carl snores soundly in peace and I can not worry about getting dressed and undressed lol.
I've seen the bath in this house. I will be having soaks in there.
Do we get towels supplied at this place guys?
Towels and basics are supplied yeah. May wanna bring a spare though.
Death Corsa is getting welded so it's rolling for another 6 months at least, so no car issues (apart from the car itself). We can drop off at the Sainsbury's or something before heading down.
Beds wise, don't mind either of those options, Dani or Jeremy. But put me with a snorer at your peril... I'm f'ing exhausted.
What's the actual plan food wise? What about getting an Ocado order in for the communal basics (we probably should decide what that actually constitutes...)?
Lets just copy the list from last year there were no real issues with that. (Unless of course there's an option to swap out the burgers for something that won't mean I'm washing up for 2 hours this year....so much fat everywhere......)
