So, the newest episode of the Podcast will ask you guys for some advice on what to show an anime fan who hasn't seen anything this year.

I am of course, referring to our beloved dictator, Ross.

As the awards season approaches, there are 12 months of streaming and physical releases which need to be caught up on. Recommendations will be discussed and dissected in next week's podcast. The suggestions also, may, or may not, affect the awards this year :)

So please, let us know, what, since Autumn 2016 up to the end of this Summer Season 2017, would you recommend and why.

    I'd recommend:
March comes in like a Lion - Started last year in October but finished in March of this year. Fantastic series about a young high school shogi player that deals with themes of depression, anxiety, family bonds, motivation/determination to name a few. It's done by shaft so it has great visual style. It also has great tonal shifts in the introspective moments of the main character being dark with thick heavy lines and the warmer more colourful comedic and heartwarming moments of the family of sisters that are in the show. Highly recommended. It's on Crunchyroll

This really sums up the year for me

You have missed Hand Shakers off this list though. I'm pretty disappointing about that

Also, would like to know others opinion about Hina Logi: From Luck & Logic as MAL reviews are really quite solid, while the MAL score in general is... not quite as good

I know Ross didn't get on with the first episode of Gamers, but he should try sticking with it. It's probably one of the funniest anime I've seen streaming for a few years, at least so far (I'm up to ep 9 I think). The girl in tears thing he didn't like gets explained and expanded on quite quickly.
