Yep still got it. Whoop
I didn't realise that SSRIs dry your eyes out, although I never wore contacts back when I took them. Hmm...interesting. Yet another thing to add to the list of side-effects of those things...
Antihistamines dry your membranes out in general, but during hayfever season it's not always comfortable to wear contacts when your allergies kick in anyway (anti-allergy eye drops and contact lenses don't mix either...). There are newer types of more "breathable" lenses, but I only got a trial pair so can't say for sure how different they are.
I've had a few minor mishaps with contact lenses: accidentally popping one out when I rubbed my eye, hairs/eyelashes getting stuck underneath, one disintegrating into three or four pieces, putting one in inside-out...generally though, they're pretty convenient when you get used to them. It's nice to go out into the rain, or walk into a warm/humid room after being outside and still being able to see
My glasses fell off my bedside table and broke last night. An expense I could really have done without.
Tip of the day.
When grabbing a can of pop, don't hit the corner of the set of draws next to you. The contents will go everywhere.
I couldn't live without them, but I could live without the lack of sex drive...
I can live without them, but yeah some of the sides are pretty suck. My favourite was fluoxetine giving me a super irritating eyebrow twitch. It would move on its own and annoy me to no end.
But cans don't have corners hmmmmmmmm
My legs still hurt from my attempted sophist dance through the mine.
My head still hurts from when I slipped, skipped and rammed my skull into the ceiling.
Only an attempted Sophist dance?
I don't think the three polish folk behind me were ready for it.
I miss being a not so lovely lady at the Chinese haha.
I also found out today my new glasses were ready to come down the road but the girl who processed my order at Vision Express took down the wrong contact number. Welp.
broke my phone
Bought some random off-brand shit smartphone on amazon for £50, cheaper than fixing it. It'll arrive tomorrow, so should be fun to play with lmao
What did you buy?
Primarily because 1) it was one of the cheapest available 2) it claims it supports 4G and 3) amazon prime means delivery is tomorrow.
ayyyy it arrived
first impression: wow looks pretty good
second impression: oh my god this touchscreen is absolute shit
If that one of those resistive touch screens (think the bottom screen of a DS) or a proper touch screen just real shitty
proper touchscreen, just shitty
Just had a look at the listing. Shitty in general it seems
Shame really, I just got shot of my old phone ( Honor 7) I'd have offered it to you if I'd known there was interest in a cheap phone.
just had my screen on my samsung j3a crack...again...in the space of a fortnight
first time it happend i shelled out the £95 for a replacement screen - this time though.
i was looking at a Huawei y6 [price and apparently better performance wise than the samsung - anyone else recomend/advise against?
Get the same phone I just bought
